Dog starved so badly he was forced to eat rocks to survive. Demand Justice For Dre

Petition objective: Upgrade charges from misdemeanor to felony for Josh and Alisa Clark, couple that starved their pet dog for weeks. 

Josh and Alisa Clark were extremely happy the day they brought Dre, a brown adorable little boxer, into their home. But the two failed to understand that pet ownership comes with responsabilities. The couple left their pet to starve without for days and days, without bothering to feed him. At one point, Dre, who was chained in the backyard, started to eat rocks in order to survive. He was finally rescued from his heartless owners and taken to an emergency vet, but his body shut down and the only humane thing to do was to euthanize him.

In several Facebook posts, Josh describes Dre as his best friend. It certainly didn’t look like this, considering what Dre was forced to go through.

The two owners, husband and wife from Owensboro, Kentucky. Josh runs a paiting business called Josh Clark’s Paintings. In an attempt to elude all  critics, Josh changed the name of his business on Facebook, but was ultimately forced to shut it down alltogether.

In spite of their actions, Josh and Alisa Clark were only charged with misdemeanor cruelty to animals, which carries a much lighter sentence than a felony.

Please show your support and demand justice for Dre. All he wanted was to be loved and cared for. Demand that charges are upgraded to felony for Josh and Alicia Clark, in addition to a permanent a ban on owning, having custody, or being in the company of animals in accordance with the relevant legislation.

These cruel people must be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law for what they did to Dre so please sign and share the petition to make this happen. Don’t let them escape with a slap on the wrist!
