I want to stop the Chinese dog festival. They lock dogs up and then boil dogs alive. I just hate people who abuse animals. They say it is a cultural event, but I don't care if it's tradition. What if it was the Chinese people getting locked up and then boiled alive? I recently watched a video of what they do to the dogs and I must say it is truly heartbreaking: for instance, one poor dog was shoved into a plastic bin with scolding hot water. In another shocking scene, locals pounded dogs with shovels over its head several times, while a friend filmed the scene. At one point, one dog managed to escape and the Chinese people just laughed. This is beyond inhumane - no one should suffer like this!  They also do this to cats. Dogs are truly man's best friend so please sign this petition and help shut down the festival!
