Punish woman that set cat on fire and published photo online!

Shay Houston posted this horrendous photo depicting a burned cat on her social media profile, bragging she had done this by herself. She claimed she had been having issues with the stray cats in the neighborhood for weeks, before finally deciding to take matters into her own hands; she claims her actions will teach all of them a lesson. Her ultimate justification for the attack: she was running out of options and she feared for the safety of her child. However, judging by the photos and comments posted online, it is clear she did not show any sort of remorse.

I should take it to the backyard and finish it. Still thinking. Stay away from my house!!! the cruel woman wrote as caption of the photo.

The cat in the photo seems to have been duct taped, before callously being set on fire and left to die. According to her Facebook profile, this heartless mother lives in Jackson, Mississippi.

Please show your support to ensure authorities will look into this case as soon as possible. Even if she was indeed bothered by the cats, her gesture is inexcusable. If the authenticity of the post is confirmed, this woman must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
