Tell Rihanna to end animal suffering and stop wearing fur!

Rihanna was supposed to be a role model for all her fans in the entire world. It turns out she is anything but that. The popular singer from Barbados has been spotted wearing fur pelts on numerous occasions – both during daylight and night time. It really did not matter the occasion, for Rihanna it was always proper to nonchalant put on a luxurious and outrageous fur coast.

What Rihanna fails to understand is that these coats come with great animal suffering. For instance, furs made out of fox: a video attached to this petition shows how these beautiful animals remain stuck in inhumane traps for days, until hunters return. The poor fox is powerless to escape, as merciless hunters start pounding her a few times, teasing her, before viciously putting her down.

Other coasts that Rihanna wears are made in China – where there are no animal protection laws and were animals are held captive and bred for their fur in special facilities called ‘fur farms’, where they endure of the most evil treatments on Earth. These animals are forced to live a miserable life by choice. They are exploited for their fur in the most inhumane way possible. Rihanna should be promoting the end of fur farms, not supporting them!

Rihanna is one of the most well-known figures on Earth. She has a lot of influence and I think she should be using it in a positive way and try to achieve change by user her huge popularity as a marketing tools for animal welfare. The singer is doing the opposite and is showing off and promoting the suffering of countless animals.

It is outrageous and despicable!
