A pet owner from Irwin, Pennsylvania has
been booked and charged for choking his dog until the pooch passed away. Police
reports indicate that the person responsible for this cowardly act is Jason
French, 33.
Upon questioning by police, French explained that he was terribly bothered that the dog was barking too much, so he decided to shup him up for good. French recalls that he spent no less than three hours squeezing the life the defenseless pet dog. French seemed to express no regret with regards to his actions and even put on a discrete smile during the booking photo.
At the end of the interview, French made a stunning remark, claiming he wouldn’t think that putting down a dog that size would take that long.
It turns out that the pooch, dubbed Apollo, had
been rescued from Animal Friends of Westmoreland back in March 2013. Shelter
president argues that French passed all background checks at the time.
Given the fact that this was not an act of impulse, but rather the defendant spent hours trying to dispatch the dog only comes to see how dangerous this deviant man is.
Although animal neglect is (still) only a misdemeanor in the state of Pennsylvania, French could still go to prison. This man needs to be removed from society, before other pets or even human fall victims in the hands of this man!
Apollo did nothing but love this man
unconditionally. He paid dearly for this! Please help get justice for Apollo!
