If the procedures that these cats are subjected to in cosmetical laboritories would be performed outside these closely monitored facilities, it would be a serious offense. But it seems that testing on animals in the name of science is perfectly allowed.
I am curious to find out what type of results have these tests have yielded. What is the major breakthrough for the company and for humanity, in general? There isn’t any! Those cats (and other animals, as a matter of fact) were inhumanely treated for absolutely nothing. They suffered just for the sake of it.
Procter & Gamble is one of the leading companies in the world. It is also a global power when it comes to animal testing. This is how cats look after certain experiments (carried out for quality testing on the Head & Shoulders shampoos). Obviously, those animals will not be having a normal life from now on. Even if they survived, they are thrown away like some sort of disposable ojbects or are euthanized – depending on their general condition amid experiments.
Such tests are unacceptable, completely unprofessional and should be
banned immediately! With substantial progress that has been achieved in
medicine and technology recently, testing on products without using animals has
become a reality. So why doesn’t P&G step it’s game up and be a truly
revolutionary company – by ceasing all animal testing right now!
We would like hereto to inform the management of the company that we are extremely disappointed that P&G continues to rely on animals for quality tests. You have left us no other choise but to boycott your products until the company goes completely animal-testing free!
We will not support or endorse any products that have harmed any animals!
