Support Justice For Philip – dog that was so hungry he tried to eat his fur!

The Yorkshire terrier, thought to be about ten years old, was so hungry that he tried eating his own fur after it had been cut away from him at a veterinarian clinic.

The dog was found in Bucknall at around 5pm last Thursday. He has been named Philip, as he was found near a hotel with a royal name.

He is now in a foster home while he recovers. Philip was in such a bad way. He was so matted that he barely resembled a dog at first glance. On top of that, his fur was covered in faeces and he could not see as it was completely covering his eyes.

There is absolutely no way he would have been able to find his way around in the state that he was in, as he was so weak, so we do believe that he was dumped. It is heartbreaking to think what he has been through, as he is also very skinny.

I want to make sure that the person responsible for this abuse gets prosecuted and that is why I created this petition. I want to urge everyone to sign and share this petition and mobilize the officials to take action against the person responsible for this act of cruelty. The owner must be severely punished for his actions and Philip must have justice! Please act now!
