Meet this group of sick maniacs. Instead of taking some girls out for drinks or getting together to catch a movie or play sports, they are organizing dog barbecues in the comfort of their own home. They have no hesitation in roasting a defenseless dog and skinning the animal afterwards. One of the partygoers is not in the mood of helping the cooks, so he stands aside and films the entire scene (which was later uploaded on Facebook). His friends can be seen skinning the animal with a knife, while laughing and cheering. Everyone is having an exceptional time. These monsters have very good precision and accuracy and certainly know what they are doing. 

After the dog meat preparation process has been finalized, these heartless teens cook some French frieds and a salad to go with the dog meat. The culinary feast therefore begins, while posing for photos with a smile on their wicked faces.

This outrageous barbecue took place in Yên Thành, Vietnam, a country where dog meat is still legal and the dog meat industry is booming. Millions of innocent dogs are skinned alive and cooked in this country, which has the highest rate of rabies to humans in the world.

Although there numerous people that keep dogs as their pets, they live in constant fear that their beloved companions can be snatched in any moment and sold to restaurants or private dog meat vendors. No one should be forced to live like this. Furthermore, dog meat consumption poses significant risks for the human health, yet the authorities have ignoring these problems for far too long. 

Dog meat basically be found everywhere in Vietnam – in numerous restaurants (which all sorts of price ranges), in open markets and on the side of the road, sold in improvised stalls (see photos below). The suffering of these dogs is simply unbearable and the health risks for the general population are tremendous.

Urgent action is needed on behalf of the government so this outrageous trade comes to an end. We must ensure that monsters such as Nam Thanh (pictured on the right) and his friends are no longer allowed to cook innocent dogs for a fun week-end. It is time for the government to get the job done and outlaw dog meat trade across the entire country.
