The Yulin Dog Meat Festival is also a dangerous food safety issue. Dogs sold on the market are sick, poisoned and dying animals. They suffer from horrendous conditions during the long distance, trans-provincial journeys, many days without food and water and may carry contagious disease. We need your help. Thousands of dogs are tortured, abused, boiled alive and eaten in the horrific dog meat trade that's prevalent in many countries around the world. Our eyes are open to the tragedies happening annually and we vow to do everything we can to put a stop to it. We're committed to fostering compassion for all living things - starting with every dog everywhere.
From helping people see the profound value of dogs to providing alternative livelihoods for meat trade workers, we want to give every dog the future they deserve.
