Justice For Lizzy – Pet dog kept on a chain for months!

A three-year-old Labrador retriever arrived at a Georgia shelter with a chain collar so deeply embedded into her neck, surgical removal was required.

The 3-year-old Labrador nearly decapitated lived outside with embedded neck chain and was almost destroyed by strangulation.

She was named Lizzy by the veterinarians who say she lived tethered outdoors and as she grew up, her family never bothered to loosen her collar or the chain that tied her.

Had it not been for a concerned neighbor reporting the horrendous abuse, she may not be alive at this moment.

Lizzy is now recovering at a Georgia veterinary partner and, hopefully, will never experience suffering again. Shelter and veterinary staff all agree that Lizzy is a wonderful and gentle dog and is poised to have a beautiful and loving life ahead. No doubt she will make a lucky person a wonderful companion in the near future.

Please take action and demand punishment for her previous owners and have them charged with animal cruelty for what they've done to Lizzy.

Mobilize the authroities and ask them to apply a harsh penalty for the owners and see that they get banned from owning animals again. Demand justice for Lizzy and sign the petition!
