Justice For Miracle – Florida dog used as bait for fights, dumped when no longer needed!

Apopka, Florida: Miracle’s weak body was discovered in the woods; she was in terrible condition and immediately taken to the hospital by volunteers with the Pitbull Railz Rescue.

A good Samaritan discovered Miracle sitting in a bed filled with ants and flies – she was barely alive and vets believe if she hadn’t been found that day she would no longer be alive right now.

Miracle’s muzzle is extremely swollen and bite marks are visible all over her body. Both of her front legs are severely infected; the smell of infection is deep and heavy. At this point, she is so weak she can’t even wag her tail. She is desperately clinging to her life, as she has a lot on her plate: she is constantly receiving IV fluids, anti-biotics, she has a feeding tube and staff are monitoring her round the clock. Her wounds are serious and therefore need constant care. Although her condition has slightly improved, she is definitely not out of the woods yet and still has a lot to overcome.

There is heavy suspicion that Miracle was used as bait for dog fights. When she was of no longer use, she was tossed to die. The area where she was found is well known in Florida to people that are looking to dump suspected bait dogs; her wounds are definitely consistent with such type of activity as well.

At this point, it is unclear if local authorities have launched an investigation into this matter. Please sign and share my petition and demand justice for Miracle. The monsters that did this to this sweet angel are still out there and must be punished by all means. Make no mistake, these no-good people will strike again unless firm action is taken.
