Shepherd that repeatedly hit donkey with stick must be brought to justice!

The footage – which is currently making the rounds on social media – shows how one shepherd chooses to treat his herd. The cruel man proceeds to pound two defenceless donkeys several times, using a huge stick, while a friend of his films the entire scene. The shepherd claims that the animals were “lazy” and this is his way to “revive” them and teach them a lesson.

Towards the end of the video, the monster turns over to the camera and exhibits a large smile – extremely proud of that day’s work.

The video was posted by a Facebook page called  “Itimat paylaşım” and the footage is believed to have been taken in Turkey.

Angry netizens expressed their outrage about this incident, hoping that justice would eventually be served. Many Turkish users admitted that this is a common practice among shepherds all over the country.

There is no doubt that both the attacker and the camera man (who stood by and did absolutely nothing to stop these cowardly attacks) needs to be brought to justice. It is clear that no animal is safe with these types of shepherds nearby.

There is no specific indication where exactly this incident took place, but the attacker’s face is visible throughout the entire video.

Please sign the petition and urge Turkish authorities to commence an investigation into this matter and bring those responsible to justice! A strong example must be set that such actions against innocent animals will not be tolerated!
