A Facebook page called ‘Halloween cat punching event’ has been recently set up by notorious troll Jamie Card. (this sick person is responsible for creating Easter, Christmas and Valentine's day cat punching events as well). In one of his infamous quotes, Mr. Card informs all his viewers that a ‘cat is not just from Xmas, it’s for punching the entire year’. (one of his pages was later updated with this photo).
This disgusting page has already received over 500 likes in just a matter of days; in addition, several other accounts (most likely bogus ones) are starting to give positive reviews to the event. Most of the supporters that have left a comment claim they can't wait for the event to begin. They argue that punching defenceless cats and kitten captures the true spirit of Halloween.
This year, this disturbing event is due to take place in Brunswick Square in Briston, United Kingdom. The trolls have even posted a phone number for booking (most likely it is someone’s phone number that was hacked). On previous occasions, the 'Halloween cat punching' event was allegedly hosted in New York and Boston.
There is no evidence to suggest that such events have actually taken place. It is all an attempt by infamous troll Jamie Card to discret the animal rights movement and we, the undersigned, will not be bullied into this sort of issues!
Please ask Facebook to delete this troll page as soon as possible. People such as Jamie Card are mocking the efforts of animal lovers worldwide and are inciting people to committ cruelty to animals, which is unacceptable.
This page has certainly no place on Facebook and the social network needs to delete it and show that animal welfare is not a joke!
