Bull tied to a pole and chopped into pieces in barbaric tradition!

This primitive and senseless tradition takes place each year in DouYun, in Guizhou province in south-west China.

In the name of tradition – a baquet food using local customs – a live buffalo is tied to a pole and hit countinously with sharp objects until the animal’s head literally detaches.

During all this time, a large crowd gathers and gasps in amazement as the buffalo continues to get weaker and weaker, barely able to walk.

After the buffalo is no longer alive, villagers cook the animal and enjoy a nice get together out in the nature, feasting on this tradition.

It is obvious that these peasants have no respect towards animals. I strongly feel that continuing to celebrate traditions by harming animals is cruel, disgusting and should not be happening.

What did that animal ever do to deserve this treatment? Only that poor soul knows how much suffering there is involved. In the meantime, the attackers smile and cheer and regard this moment as joyful and pleasant. It’s sick beyond words!
