El Cajon, California: 17-year-old Giselle Mondragon spotted several puppies in distress and did not think twice before making a move. It was a sweltering hot day in California and the sun was simply roasting people alive. A group of newborn puppies were left to sit in the blistering heat with no shelter and no one was around for them.
They were in need of desperate help and my instinct simply told me to help them Mondragon recalls.
Mondragon jumped her neighbor’s fence to rescue the puppies.
It was really hot for them, they had blood on their mouth. They were just a few hours old and looked very dehydrated
El Cajon police also came to help, pouring water on them, rubbing
their backs and monitoring their pulses. A total of six puppies were rescued at
the scene. Nobody was home at the time of the incident, while temperatures
soured to triple digits.
The puppies were rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately three of them died the same day.
These owners just make me angry, they should have been looking after their dogs. The puppies’ mother and father were also removed from the scene and taken to the hospital.
A bit later, the dogs’ owner returned home, but refused to answer any questions coming from News10 ABC San Diego.
No charges have been filed up to this point.
I am asking all animal lovers to take action and ensure this heartless monster is punished for the unbelievable suffering he caused to this litter of newborn babies. This irresponsible and completely uncaring owner must be prosecuted for animal neglect, all dogs need to be removed permanently from his ‘care’ and this heartless individual should never be allowed to keep pets again.
Please support the maximum penalty in this case and ensure justice
will be served to the fullest.
