Do no let woman that tied dog’s mouth with shoelace keep the pet!

Shiloh, Illinois: 24-year-old Sarah Beth Boothby shared this disturbing photo on social media. The cruel owner took it upon herself to tie her pet dog’s muzzle shut with shoelaces – not only did she do this, but she also took to social media to brag about her actions.

The photo on the left was posted on the woman’s Facebook profile, alongside the caption: ‘When you chew up mommy’s shoe laces…’

When confronted by critics, the woman defended her actions and stated the dog fully deserves it. When the local police department was called to investigate, the woman stated that she had only tied up the dog’s mouth in that manner for just 45 seconds. The fact that she did it in the first place is a great deal for concern to me.

Because the dog appeared to be in good health and no physical injuries were discovered, investigators were unable to remove the dog from the premises. Although the woman was charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty, it seems she will get to keep her the pet. This is a scary and outrageous thought. Dogs sometimes chew on things, it is in their nature and owners must act in a responsible manner and teach their pets how to behave. This cruel woman thought she was teaching the dog a lesson, but this is certainly not the way to handle things.

In the light of her actions, there is no way this woman should be allowed to keep the dog or have pets again. Please support my petition and demand that Sarah Beth Boothby receives a ban from owning pets! There is no excuse for her reckless actions and the only way this will not happen again if the woman is harshly punished.
