Dog run over 10 times by cruel driver with SUV gets no justice! Sign The Petition Now!

This despicable act of abuse was posted on Facebook a while ago. In spite of the tremendous suffering caused to a harmless dog, the research that I have carried out indicates that the cruel perpetrator only got away with a fine.

This senseless attack was carried out somewhere in the desert of Saudi Arabuia. A dog is forced to play a sick cat and mouse game as he is tossed outside the vehicle and forced to run for his life. The driver is filmed speeding up several times in an attempt to run the pooch over with his pick-up truck. He is successful and, in total, the dog is run over no less than 10 times in just a matter of minutes. Meanwhile, a friend filmed the entire scene and he encourages the driver to keep going until the pooch is no longer breathing. No way the coward with the phone would have intervened to save the dog. He stood there, filimg the scene, without doing anything for the pooch. In my opinion, he is just as guilty as the attacker.

After being hit several times, the dog collapses to the ground, giving his final breath. He is left there to perish, as the driver waves goodbye to the camera, before taking off like nothing had happened. That poor dog did not stand a chance in front of his attackers and ended up being used as an entertainment prop.

The video turned viral and was watched by millions of outraged people. The incident was reported to the police and the perpetrator was finally tracked down and arrested. It seems that justice was following its course, but the evil attacker was eventully released and allowed to walk away with only a fine, due to lenient animal protection laws in Saudi Arabia.

Please support tougher animal welfare laws in the country and help ensure all people convicted of abusing animals are handed out mandatory jail time.

It is extremely depressing to watch such types of videos and later find out no justice has been served. What that poor, innocent dog had to go through is just outrageous and inhumane. Let us make sure such incidents will never take place again – or if they do, the perpetrators will be harshly punished.
