Investigate man that slapped and hit kitten several times!

The deeply troubling video of a man mishandling a kitten was recently posted on Facebook. The footage was uploaded on Jalaldeen Naseem’s Facebook profile and quickly went viral, managing to garner as many as 1.3k shares up to this point. The callous man is seen grabbing the tiny cat, as he starts pounding and hurling the scared pet. At one point, the man attempts ‘to brush the cat’s teeth’ with his hands.

The cat is clearly traumatized by this experience, as it tries to escape several times, but to no avail. The video goes on for about for two minutes. Meanwhile, the person that is filming does not do anything to stop this blatant mistreatment, which, in my view, makes him / her as guilty as the attacker himself.

According to the man’s Facebook profile, he is an inhabitant Addalachenai city in Sri Lanka, but works as a driver in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. However, up to this point, the whereabouts of this man have not been officially confirmed. The only evidence is his Facebook profile, therefore it is crucial not to attempt to make any contact with him, or he might delete the video or his account altogether, making it difficult to trace him.

The video appears to have been taken in Sri Lanka, since the architecture of the homes in the footage is not consistent with those found in Saudi Arabia.

When he comes back to work, authorities in Jeddah must step up and investigate this man without hesitation, because such behavior towards an innocent pet cat is unacceptable and must be punished!
