Mariah Carey and billionaire James Packer have recently announced
their engagement and are now planning to tie the knot in 2016. TMZ reports that
the wedding will take place most like in September on the exclusive island of
Barbuda, in the Carribean.
Packer and Robert De Niro are currently in the middle of building a
private $250 million resort on the beautiful Carribean island. Carey is also
doing great on a professional level, as she is getting to start her first
global tour in a decade.
Although a specific date has yet to be established, sources close to
the couple report that the planning is going great.
Guests are expected to be flown in with private jets (how else, of
course?). Numerous clows, acrobats and all sorts of shows are scheduled to take
place. Carey’s sources claim that baby elephants and white tiger cubs will also
take part in the wedding, which, in my view, should not be allowed to happen.
Subjecting animals to this demeaning treatment and forcing them to
take part in circus type shows so wedding guests can be entertained is
absolutely shocking and revolting!
Mariah Carey must realize that is extremely unpleasant for baby
elephants to be removed from their mothers, placed in containers and shipped to
her wedding, just so she can live her fantasy!
How many of these baby elephants and tigers will survive the journey
back? You can have all the money in the world, but you should not be allowed to
interfere with the lives of wild animals!
There are definitely other ways to make a wedding unforgettable. It
is now about all these superficial shows that are being organized, what really
matters is the love they share for each other!
Please urge Mariah Carey to reconsider the idea of exploting animals
for her dream wedding! Thank you for taking the time to read and support my
