Justice For Butter: Punish shop employee that kicked gentle dog repeatedly for being on store ground!

A shocking photo emerged online showing the abuse committed by a Soriana supermarket employee in Campeche, Mexico.

According to the photos that have been massively shared over the past month, the stray dog, known as ‘Mantequilla’ (Butter in Spanish) made a habit of spending a good chunck of his time at the store’s entrance. He would receive food and water and was loved by many people in the area. However, a store employee got extremely upset when Butter refused to leave the store at his command. Noticing that the helpless stray kept coming back, the heartless man (pictured on the left) decided to teach the dog a lesson he would never forget: he started kicking the defenseless creature until the dog’s jaw was shattered into pieces. It all happened in front of terrified customers, who refused to intervene out of fear they might become victims themselves.

Butter was rushed to the vet’s in terrible shape. The picture on the right might provide good indication about what this gentle dog had to endure. He received emergency treatment, was operated on successfully and is on the verge of recovering from the nasty attack.

Amid this outrageous and cowardly attack, Soriana management issued a statement pointing out that the rumors surrounding the story are completely false and, in fact, the attack had not been carried out by an employee of their company. Soriana management also claimed that they have the deepest respect towards animals and announced plans to host a dog adoption event by the end of this month (as proof that the company actually cares for animal welfare).

Please do not let this ruthless man escape unpunished. It is obvious that Soriana will not fire this employee and are only trying to cover up his actions. This is where the justice system needs to intervene: the attacker needs to be charged with cruelty to animals and fully face the consequences of his irresponsible actions.
