Justice for Luna – pit bull locked on terrace and left to starve until she died!

Pericás Maestro Antonio is the owner of a white pit bull dog dubbed Luna. A neighbor was shocked to discover the dog sitting on the terrace of a house in Es Coll d'en Rabassa, Mallorca, Spain. The poor animal was nothing but skin and bones.

The concerned neighbor immediately called authorities; the animal was rushed to a veterinary clinic in Reus in critical condition – she was severely underfed and all her bones in her body were visible. Although vets did their best to keep her alive, she passed away later on.

Authorities managed to quickly track down the owner who abandoned the animal on his terrace of his pricey apartment. The man had plenty of money to entertain himself, but refused to feed his dog over an extended period of time.

Facing intense backslash on social media, the owner came forward and claimed he was innocent:

“I have not neglected my dog and I did nothing wrong. This is a nightmare, I can’t even get out of my house out of fear I might be attacked. I truly loved my dog. Luna was suffering from leishmaniasis and I didn’t want to euthanize her. I just wanted to spend as much time as possible alongside her. I wanted to be with her in her last moments.”

Antonio also claimed that all the negative rumours had been started by a neighbor that is part of an animal welfare group. He also added that Luna was rescued from a gypsy camp where conditions were “the worst he had ever seen” and told his critics “they have no idea what they are talking about”

However, neighbors have responded and called the man a liar, claiming Luna had been sitting on the terrace for days – this is how the owner chose to say goodbye to his beloved dog?

Another concerning issue is the fact that Antonio owns another pet, a Mastiff type dog – an animal that is in imminent danger as we speak.

The truth is that Pericás Maestro Antonio left his pet dog on the terrace without assuring the animal’s basic needs, including proper shelter, food and water and veterinary care.

He must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for the way he treated Luna. This man is directly responsible for causing extreme pain and suffering to a faithful animal that did no harm and only wanted to be loved and cared for.

Demand the maximum penalty against Pericás Maestro Antonio and ensure a lifetime pet ownership ban will be imposed!
