Justice for dogs starved for weeks by cruel owner!

A series of shocking photos emerged online that show the plight of two innocent dogs that were starved for a very long time and then tossed out from a moving van by their heartless owners.

This heartbreaking incident unfolded in the city of Ciudad Real, in the region of Castilla-La Mancha in Spain.

Protectora La Bienvenida Ciudad Real, an animal welfare organization, stepped up immediately and rescued the pooches, who are so thin their bones can be seen through their skin. In addition, both dogs were missing huge chunks of their fur.

The two dogs are now closely monitored by staff and volunteers; they have been named Raiz (Root) and Tierra (Earth).

Vets claim the dogs have not seen sun light for an extended period of time, which caused their skin colour to become so pink.

Carmen Diaz, one of the volunteers, claims this is the worst case of neglect she has ever witnessed in over 25 years of animal rescue.

They were dumped without food and water. They were nothing but skin and bones. No one can reach this state of health in days, it is all a matter of weeks or months. It was clearly intentional.

Several witnesses claim that at least two men were in the van when the dogs were dumped, but it seems as the van’s number plates had been removed. Even more concerning, witnesses claim that there were more canines in the back of the truck, but no one knows what happened to them.

The photos were published on social media and animal lovers from all over the world were left outraged and heartbroken.

Identifying and apprehending the heartless owners should become a priority for the local authorities. Those sub-humans have no feeling and no compassion for animals and, with more dogs in their possession, we can expect similar incidents to occur.
