Justice for pet dog shot with arrow during afternoon walk!

The owners of a 6-month-old lab puppy are calling the dog's survival a miracle after the dog’s body was pierced by an arrow out of the blue.

The owner said that his dog Bear wandered off during a walk near his home in Laurel Creek in Lenore on Tuesday. When he returned home later that day, he found the dog on his front lawn with an arrow jetting from his shoulder out his side.

The owner said he found the dog standing still and expressed his utter disbelief at what happened. Veterinarians claim the dog had a collapsed lung after the abuse, but are confident the patient will make a full recovery.

Bear's family doesn't know where the arrow came from, but are happy to have their dog safe at home.

He's just like one of the kids he plays and he plays with all of them,   the owner said.

Please take action and demand justice for Bear. Urge the authorities to investigate this case and have the person responsible for this horrible act of cruelty severely punished!
