A basicscard is destroying people's lives. You can't buy food from a fruit and veg shop, the market, a butcher or Aldi. Coles and Woolworths are too expensive and has shortened many families meals because they are forced to shop at Coles and Woolworths to buy items they could've bought for half the Coles and woolies prices elsewhere like Aldi, fruit and vegetables etc.
If you are out and about and far away from home and need a drink but there's only a take away shop you can buy a drink from but because you're stuck with a basics card you can't buy that drink because you can't use a basic card at any takeaway shop, restaurant etc.
Please help me get rid of this tragic basicscard please families are eating one meal a day because that's all they can afford.
