The video of a cruel owner abusing his horse in public has gone viral on social media. The heartbreaking footage was viewed by more than 4 million Facebook users and was shared over 50k times. Please support my petition and help get justice for this severely mistreated horse, because no animal deserves to be treated in this manner.
The incident took place during a public gathering in Nicaragua. The horse, probably exhausted because of the effort, collapses to the ground and his owner does not hesitate to punish him. The heartless man is spotted stomping on the animal several times, before sitting on his back, trying to scare the horse. After about one minute of prolonged torment, the horse finally gets up and moves on.
If this is how the owner treats the horse in public, just imagine what he might to do that poor animal when no one is watching. It is also important to note that despite the fact that the abuse took place in public, no one actually intervened and tried to help this majestic animal. A witness stood by and did nothing except film the scene.
Please support justice for this neglected animal. Nicaragua does have animal welfare laws in place and we ask they are immediately applied. We, the undersigned, demand that an official investigation into this incident commences and that the owner is be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
