Punish man that slammed dog against wall in fit of rage!

UPDATE: The man in the picture / video is not the owner, but rather a neighbour. The owner is the child that is filming everything while hiding, because he was afraid of retaliation.

The shocking images of an out-of-control man mishandling a defenseless dog have been published on social media a few days ago. The extreme footage quickly went viral, receiving thousands of comments, shares and tweets.

The video shows an irresponsible person slamming a chained dog to the wall repeatedly right in his backyard. The animal is powerless in front of these merciless attacks. Just when everyone thought it would be over, the man grabs an empty bottle and smashes it against the dog’s head; the poor animal collapses to the ground instantly, lying on his back. For a few moments, he remains like that, motionless, then his legs start to shake abruptly, as the attacker peacefully walks away. That is where the video ends, with no indication whether the dog survived. But given the extent of his injuries and the force of the attack, it is highly unlikely the animal made it through. A witness recorded the scene via mobile phone from what seems to be a hangar right near the man’s yard.

According to the information provided in the video’s caption, this terrible and regrettable incident took place near Manila, the capital city of the Philippines. No exact address and no ID for the owner are provided.

We must to everything in our power to ensure that this man is brought to justice as soon as possible. Prosecutions regarding animal mistreatment cases are rare in the country, however, we must make our voice heard and ensure the law is applied! Such type of abuses are illegal and animals are protected by law in the Philippines.
