Punish monster that chopped dog’s head off after drinking too much!

A faithful German Shepherd had to pay the ultimate price for his owner’s outrageous lack of justice and sobriety. I have started this petition to put pressure on the justice system and ensure that a hefty punishment will be applied in this case. I ask everyone reading this cause to support it and ensure justice will be achieved.

The incident took place in Las Choapas, a town in the state of Veracruz, Mexico. Felix Rodriguez Flores went to a bar and had been drinking all night long. He returned home at about 1:30 am only to discover that his pet dog had eaten several of his chickens. Mr. Flores was livid and decided to punish the canine. His wife, America Martinez Silvan, and his son, Wilbert America David Rodgriuez Martinez, tried to calm him down, but to no avail. Actually they only made things worse. The man attacked his wife, before grabbing a baseball bat and taking all his frustrations out on the defenseless dog. As if this was not enough, the man went after his axe and left the dog without its head.

The terrified woman managed to call the police. Officers quickly arrived at the home, but it took a while to detain the suspect, because the out-of-control man had locked himself inside his home. Even police officers that responded to the scene were deeply shocked about what they came across.

The woman says she is determined to bring justice to her dog and claims she will testify in court against her husband.

This present petition has two main objectives. First of all, to ensure that full prosecution against Felix Rodrigues Flores is dictated – no leniency spared. Secondly, Las Choapas does not have any authority that protects animals. This shocking case only comes to enforce the need of having an animal protection institution in town. Our voiceless companions deserve to be protected so we hereby ask authorities to implement such a much-needed authority as soon as possible.
