It turns out that the mother is pregnant once again and has left her first child roam around the house freely, letting her do what she pleases. The heartless girl took the liberty of abusing the family cat and didn’t even blink while doing so; her mother came to check on her, but instead of disciplining her and teaching her a lesson about compassion, the irresponsible parent took some photos of the girl and the mistreated cat and proudly posted them online nonchalantly.

In the photos you can clearly see the girl grabbing the terrified cat by its tail and turning her head upside down. She poses for a photo with an innocent smile on her face. The cat appears in another photo later on and appeared to be unharmed, though terribly scared.

I understand that this girl is probably too young to realize that this is cruelty to animals. To her, it’s just a game. I believe in her innonce, given the circumstances. However, the mother must be held accountable at all costs for this abuse. She saw what her girl was doing and she failed to intervene, permitting the abuse to continue – and this is unacceptable!

The mother’s name is Mayra Rolon. She lives in Quilmes, a town in the Buenos Aires province of Argentina. According to her Facebook profile (which has since been deleted), she works as product manager for the Quilmes Atletico Club and as medical assistant at the Kids’ Odontology Institute in Avellaneda.
