Revoke license of trainer filmed beating German Shepherd dog during learning session!

The video of this abusive dog trainer has sparked outrage in the online environment. It all seemed to be just a normal day for Pascal Lecourt, a dog trainer at the Balinghem Club Canin in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region of France. Today’s mission was to train a German Shepherd type dog. Mr. Lecourt allows a camera to film the procedures for educational purposes. Midway through the training session, Mr. Lecourt grows increasingly nervous and agitated with the dog. In just a matter of seconds, he will reach the boilding point. At that moment, the trainer can be seen grabbing the German Shepherd dog by its collar and viciously swinging him around his back, before throwing the dog to the ground in a fit of rage.

The dog’s owners were extremely displeased with the trainer’s actions and have uploaded the footage on Facebook it an attempt to name and shame the ruthless trainer.

It turns out that the trainer was involved in another outrageous incident back in 2008, which resulted in the closure of the kennel club Mr. Lecourt worked for due to ‘disagreement on the club’s guidelines in its operation’.

Mr. Lecourt then admitted that his training methods were inhumane and issued the following statement: ‘I know that my actions are tough, but it’s better than euthanasia. The other method that could be used is the electric collar and I refuse to do that. The video is three months old and is set-up on behalf of the owner, because the dog had missed his defense patent and wanted revenge. He contacted me and my entire staff to threaten us and also got in touch with the judge of the tournament in an attempt to change his judgement.

We, the undersigned, are appalled by the behavior exhibited by Pascal Lecourt and demand a swift investigation into this matter. This heartless man needs to be severely punished and never be allowed to train animals again. In addition, we request that the Balinghem Club Canin has its operating license revoked and the facility is shut down permanently.
