Please share so we can help this poor fur baby. This helpless canine
is in so much distress right now and humans did it to him!
Authorities in Mexico City have promised a profound animal welfare
reform, yet nothing has been achieved at this point. Animals continue to be
mistreated on a daily basis and authorities are not doing anything to address
this issue.
The latest case of cruelty involved a dog whose owners tightly
wrapped a chain around his head and left him outside in tremendous pain and
suffering. The dog can barely breathe and is unable to gain access to food and
water (an empty bowl can actually be spotted just near him). Shocked neighbours
claim that when the dog barks, the owner comes outside and straps the chain
even tighter around the canine’s neck, as some sort of twisted form of
punishment. Witnesses snapped photos (both during day and night) and took to
social media to post the incriminating evidence and to express their outrage.
The photos of the dog went viral instantly.
Local animal rights activists have reported this issue to the
police, but nothing has been done. I am not sure how much more this helpless
dog can endure.
Please take immediate action so this neglected pet can be rescued
before it’s not too late.

This abuse is clearly intentional and is certainly against curent
animal welfare laws in Mexico. There is thus legal basis for prosecution. Help
ensure the owner is punished and the dog is brought to safety immediately.
