This badly abused dog was discovered in the south-western part of
Detroit, Michigan. A concerned passer-by spotted the severely wounded animal
and decided to take action. The Humane Society was called and volunteers were
able to rescue the dog and take him to the MHS’ Mackey Center for Animal Care;
everyone was shocked to discover that the canine’s nose and both ears had been
cut off.
Vets believe this act of abuse was intentional, since the dog also
had deep cuts on his legs and tail. The pooch is now receiving the best medical
care available; the Michigan Humane Society has yet to release an update on the
dog’s condition. However, the friendly, chocolate-colored Rottweiler is expected
to make a full recovery and, hopefully, he will be made available for adoption
as soon as possible.
At this point, no one knows who the canine belongs to.
Please support my petition and help bring justice to this abused
dog. Such kinds of actions are unacceptable, we need to be a voice for those
who cannot speak for themselves!
Urge the authorities to immediately initiate an investigation into
this matter and bring whoever is responsible for this inhumanity to justice. There
is a manianc on the lose on the streets of Detroit. That person needs to be
removed from society without further delay!
