This woman is the author of a extremely disturbing post on Facebook,
in which she boasted about leaving her pet dog outside to die in the scorching
sun. Please support my petition so this heartless woman can be brought to
justice!
According to the statement posted online, her dog, Erin, was eager
to get out of the house and play outside. The woman left the pooch unattended
for about two hours. When she returned, she discovered the dog’s lifeless body
on her front porch. It seemed that the Texas heat had been too much for the
pooch. Erin was left without water and without access to a cool, shady spot.
Quite astonishingly, instead of rushing the dog to the hospital (a move that
could have potentially saved Erin’s life), this nasty woman appeared to have
been amused by the entire situation. She stood on her property, taking photos
of her lifeless pet and posting messages on social media!
Facing a huge storm of critics from outraged animal lovers, the heartless
owner shut down her social media account. The woman’s name is Mo Gourrier. All
we know at this point is that she lives in the state of Texas (no precise city
was mentioned on her Facebook profile). She also recently posted photos from a
trip to Galveston Beach (also in Texas).
Please show your support so an investigation into this matter can be
initiated as soon as possible. We, the undersigned, demand that Ms. Gourrier be
charged with cruelty to animals without further delay. This irresponsible person
has no excuse for her actions and must be held accountable for the abrupt
passing of her pet dog, Erin!
