Stop Givenchy from skinning millions of animals in the name of fashion!

If you have ever bought Givenchy products before or are considering buying some, please be better informed and read this petition! It’s appalling what big fashion brands are doing to these innocent souls just to make a profit!! They have no consideration for animal lives and will do everything in their power to keep these matters as secret as possible and continue the supply chain!

Givenchy is one of the biggest haute couture brands on the planet. The company was established in 1952 by designer Hubert de Givenchy. It is currently owned by luxury group LVMH (which stands for Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy) and its yearly revenues are close to $1 bn.

A great chunck of this revenue is obtained with great animal suffering. Givenchy sales a large variety of fur garments on fashion websites and in stores. Givenchy commissions fur farm in China to supply them with the raw material they need. If you are unaware – China has no animal protection laws and the facilities were fur is produced are highly unsupervised. Numerous undercover investigations have revealed the terrible conditions behind closed doors. Animals are routinely pounded in the head with sticks and bats, before having their fur ripped off of them – while some animals are still conscious. But before this, animals such raccoons or rabbits spend their entire life crammed in tiny, metal cages, sometimes with no direct sunlight. And there are thousands of them. Each and every day they go through the same inhumane process.

Once the fur has been obtained, Givenchy transforms it into luxury garments and sold to ignorant, affluent customers from all over the world. Just to give you a sense of how these clothes are priced, I checked the catalogue of Shopsyle.com, a popular online retailer and here’s what I found:

This is absolutely outrageous and disgusting!

Tell Givenchy to end the daily suffering of millions animals and drop fur out of their fashion collections! Those poor souls can’t endure anymore of this inhumane treatment!

We would also like to inform the company management that we will be imposing a complete boycott on each and every Givenchy products (including perfurms and cosmetics) until our demands are met!

Say no to fur and say no to GIVENCHY selling fur!
